A specimen Japanese maple and two Cornus x 'Eddie's White Wonder' (Dogwood) line the perimeter along a vertical slat fence. Hydrangea quercifolia (Oakleaf Hydrangea) and Asarum caudetum (Western Wild Ginger) mix with Acorus gramineus (Golden Sweet Flag) on the groundplane.
Beyond the fence, a variety of roses in pots frame a small patio of limestone pavers.
